Super visa

Super visa allows the applicant to visit their children and grandchildren in Canada for a period of up to 2 years at a time. It is a multi-entry visa which allows multiple entries for a period of up to 10 years.

To be eligible for the super visa the applicant should:

• Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
• Have a signed letter from the child or grandchild in Canada including financial support for the length of visit.
• Have medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company that is valid for at least 1 year from date of entry with a coverage of at least $100 000CAD.
